Women's Power to Stop War is a global movement of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF), leading up to the 100th Anniversary of the organization in April, 2015. This movement is aimed at strengthening, connecting, and celebrating 100 years of peace from - building from a gender perspective.
The Webinar series are free and open to anybody, only a registration required, and will occur throughout the year until April.
This 4th installment of the Webinar Series featured Professor Janie Leatherman as she discussed the causes and consequences of sexual violence in contemporary conflict. She addressed new trends in conflict-related sexual violence, arising challenges in humanitarian responses, and reflected on current strategies of prevention, protection, and caring.
